We are delighted to host our next in a series of Talking Shop Retail HR seminars, at our London office.
There are a number of topical HR issues and legal changes that are highly relevant to the retail sector. This event will give you the chance to focus on the issues that are likely to face your organisation. It will also be a great opportunity to network with some of your peers.
We will be covering various topics:
- Drug and alcohol testing - drug and alcohol abuse is a growing problem. We will focus on what employers can and should do, including substance abuse policies, testing, searches and what to do when a problem is identified
- Mental health issues in the workplace - the Department of Health advises that one in four of us will experience mental ill health at some point in our lives. It is important that employers implement appropriate policies and best practice to promote positive mental health and support those suffering from mental ill health
- Tricky issues - this is an interactive session to discuss issues that you are dealing with, where a general discussion may be helpful. We will ask all delegates to treat the discussion as confidential
- Recent cases and what's in the pipeline - we will take you through our usual round-up of important recent decisions and forthcoming legislative changes, focussing on the developments that are relevant to the retail sector, so that you are up to date and ready to plan for the future.
We hope that you will be able to attend this event. If you would like to join us, please click on the link to register.
Please also forward any advance notification of "Tricky Issues" to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that tea and coffee will be served from 9.30am with presentations commencing at 10am.
